| introduction | 4-isopropylphenylhydrazine hydrochloride is an organic intermediate, which can be prepared from 4-isopropylaniline by diazotization reaction. |
| preparation | measure 1.37mL(0.02mol)4-isopropylaniline, drop 50mL concentrated hydrochloric acid, and stir in ice bath for 10min. Slowly add 7.5mL(0.15mol) of 2mol/L sodium nitrite aqueous solution. The solution turned reddish brown and the ice bath reacted for 1h. Directly add 1mol/L of stannous chloride concentrated hydrochloric acid solution 30mL in the original reaction vessel, and stir in ice bath for 3 hours. A large amount of solid is precipitated, filtered, washed with water, air-dried naturally, and no further purification is carried out to obtain 1.72g of light brown powder 4-isopropylphenylhydrazine hydrochloride with a yield of 92.2%. |
